F. CHUCK TODD CLARIFICATION: RICKY BOBBY IS MY SOLE UNDERSTANDING OF RED-STATE, BACKWOODS, MOUTH-BREATHING, SLOPED-FOREHEAD, BITTER CLINGING, INBRED COUSIN-KISSERS FROM PODUNKVILLE

In the world of F. Chuck Todd, Podunkville means all provinces of America outside of the DC beltway and Midtown Manhattan. All those places are straight out of Deliverance far as he’s concerned. Ricky Bobby, the FICTIONAL character from some Will Ferrell movie, is another one of his reference points speaking to how people in Middle America live and exist. So you’ll forgive F. Chuck Todd if he assumes all us unedumekated folk with our non-book learnin’ are just like Ricky Bobby.

From Real Clear Politics:
NBC’s Chuck Todd said on his MSNBC show that when Michele Bachmann says phrases like “I take him at his word” it reminds him of Ricky Bobby.

Ricky Bobby was actor Will Ferrell’s character in the movie “Talladega Nights.” Ricky Bobby was a NASCAR race car driver and depicted as a stereotypical Southern male.

Which is funny, F. Chuck Todd. Every single time you speak with that there peach fuzz around the mouth, speakin’ on the brilliance of Barack Obama and the genius of the White House,  you remind me of the Bobby character from Deliverance. Bet you’d look might purrty in some white briefs, Mr. F. Chuck. Squeal like a pig, Chuck! Squeal like a pig!! Yeeee-hawwww!!!!!
